Power Climber Wind designed, built and supplied new sliding door turbine service lift solution for Vestas 2MW GridStreamer turbines in Europe. This custom turbine service lift was engineered to meet the increased demands of the new CE machinery directive while simultaneously enhancing ergonomics and functionality in Vestas new tower configurations. Integrated safety features such as built-in overspeed brake, secondary suspension cables, upper and lower limit switches and emergency stop increased reliability and ensured operators safety significantly. Designed to assemble and install inside the wind turbine section at the customer’s manufacturing plant significantly reduced installation time on-site.
